The Siemens Sensation 10 CT scanner gives 10 slices per
tube rotation enabling a faster, high resolution, low radiation
scans. Because of single breathold volume imaging, even
small lesions are not missed. Sections as thin as 0.75 mm
are acquired. Abdominal applications such as multiphase
liver studies, Mesenteric Angiography, Virtual colonoscopy,
high resolution small bowel imaging are performed with good
results.
