I first discovered Wockhardt Hospitals when I was doing research for having surgery overseas. I knew many people were traveling to India for gastric bypass surgery, but I did not know much more than that. While researching medical tourism in India I come to the Wockhardt website. After reviewing the credentials of the hospital and staff and after reviewing testimonials f other Wockhardt patients my decision to have surgery in India was very easy to make.

I was nervous about traveling half way around the world to have surgery, but upon my arrival the staff put all of my worries at ease. The pre-op tests performed on me in India were tests never performed on me in the United States. They were very thorough and wanted to ensure my surgery was as safe as possible. The nurses were caring and friendly, as was all an of the hospital staff. I was visited daily by physical therapists, nurses, doctors and the International marketing staff. My surgeon was all well educated. Some of his medical education was even completed in the U.S. He was very through and explained all parts of my procedure in great detail. My family was kept informed throughout my entire surgery so they would not worry. My post operative care has far exceeded any post –op care .I have had in the United States .I have been so pleased with the quality of the care in India at Wockhardt Hospitals that I would definitely consider traveling here again for any future surgical needs.
