What makes a pregnancy high-risk? Women are considered high risk if they:

Are over age 35
Have chronic-health conditions such as diabetes or high blood pressure
Have a family history of certain genetic disorders
Are pregnant with multiples (twins, triplets)
Had prior problems with pregnancy such as miscarriage or preterm labor

Families can cope more successfully with a high-risk pregnancy with appropriate medical intervention, education, and a strong support system. In fact, many risk factors can be identified even before conception occurs. Wockhardt woman care has specialists in high-risk pregnancy care.

Antenatal program

Our unique antenatal program offers holistic care to the expectant mother who is on this very special journey of life, of being part of creation.

The mother-to-be is taught about safe delivery, exercises during delivery, antenatal counseling and labor preparation, breathing techniques to help in normal delivery. Husbands are invited for all counseling classes throughout the pregnancy for diet, exercise and support programs.
