On consideration, my stay at the Wockhardt has been like a sunny day. The people I have been treated by, the nursing staff, the domestic staff, everybody without exception have been delightful and I am very conscious of their efforts to make my stay a happy one. My outcome was wonderful and much better than my best expectation. When I return to the UK, when I have the opportunity, I will recommend your medical services to the best of my ability.

I had to write to you to let you know the good news about my knee: it is now fine and surpassing all my expectations.

The only time I am aware of it is when I rise after sitting for a while and it briefly complains. Whilst I am moving I forget all about it.


I must confess that, after your last mail, I did not "take it easy". A neighbour had broken his leg and I undertook to walk his dog each day. I used it as training and targeted speed and distance. In the event I averaged about 25 km per week at around 4.5 km / hour. I have just given up walking the dog because I have a building project to deal with.

Also to my joy, I recently climbed my first mountain (just under 1000m) for many years. What's more I did it in about 5 hours up and down. Finally - I am again playing tennis.

It was strange, it wasn't that long after your mail that it stopped bothering me. I can only assume that it was in the mind more than in the body.

Any way I am a delighted and totally satisfied customer for which I cannot thank you enough.
